Briefly about Gorno-Altaisk State University.

Currently, GASU is the center of science, culture and education in the Altai Republic.

The University includes the faculties of natural sciences and geography, history and philology, psychology and pedagogy, economics and law, altaistics and turkology, physics and mathematics, as well as agricultural technology. It offers a diverse range of educational programs: 6 in secondary vocational education, 66 in bachelor’s degrees, 3 in specialist programs, 16 in master’s degrees, and 11 PhD degrees.

GASU prepares specialists in various fields: mathematicians, physicists, biologists, chemists, geographers, historians, philologists, economists, lawyers, managers, accountants, agronomists, veterinarians, dog handlers, psychologists, teachers, social workers, and experts in tourism, among others.
